FOOD DRIVE FRIDAYS ARE ON!

who am i

I’m Riverdale Help Truck. I organize good deeds in my cherished community of Riverdale!

I aim to help my fellow residents that are mobility challenged, living with a disability, or could just really use a helping hand. I’m also keen to help with community beautification and local charity efforts. The deeds are small … but hopefully infectious :)

Have an idea for a good deed, or know someone that could use a hand? Keep reading!

how it works

1. Submit a Good Deed request form (see below).

2. Riverdale Help Truck will write you back.

3. If it’s a go, you and Riverdale Help Truck will set up an agreeable date and time for the deed.

4. Price = zero.

SOME GOOD DEED EXAMPLES

1. Pick up an item of furniture from you and deliver it to a local charity that could really use it.

2. Help deliver your donated food items to those in need in our community.

3. Round up a few bags of fall leaves, or prune a tree branch that’s getting in your way.

4. Remove graffiti from your laneway garage or fence.

5. Help deliver and set up items for your junior sport team fundraising / community event.

6. Fix a loose handrail leading up to your front door.

There’s a whole bunch of other ways to help out those in our community that need it most. Submit your proposal below!
